When scheduling an installation with Murphy Door, customers can expect a smooth, well-communicated process from start to finish. Once the product is completed and ready, our team will proactively reach out to begin scheduling the installation. We will work directly with the customer to coordinate a convenient date and time that fits their schedule. Prior to the appointment, customers will receive clear instructions on how to prepare the space to ensure an efficient install. On the scheduled day, a trained installer will arrive with the necessary tools and materials, complete the installation with a high level of craftsmanship, and walk through the finished product to ensure satisfaction. Murphy Door Installation Service – Terms and Conditions
By scheduling an installation service through Murphy Door, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Third-Party Installation Provider
Murphy Door contracts with a third-party installation team to provide installation services. The third-party installer is responsible solely for the installation of Murphy Door or Murphy Bed products purchased directly through Murphy Door.
2. Scope of Service
The installation service includes the basic assembly and installation of the Murphy Door or Murphy Bed as supplied by Murphy Door.
This service does not include:

Reconstruction or modification of existing doorways, walls, or openings

Electrical or wiring work

Finishing work, including painting, and drywall

Installation of paneling for hidden door panels

Assembly of the Unassembled Murphy Doors
All additional work not listed as part of the standard install scope must be arranged independently by the customer with a licensed contractor or specialist.
3. Site Preparation
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the installation area is fully accessible and cleared of all furniture, decor, and obstructions prior to the arrival of the installation team. Failure to provide a clear and safe workspace may result in delays, additional charges, or cancellation of the installation.
4. Installation Quality Disclaimer
While Murphy Door and its third-party installers take every step to ensure quality installation, no wall is perfectly level or plumb. All products will be installed in accordance with industry standards. Any minor gaps or variances due to wall imperfections are considered normal and do not constitute installation defects.
5. Rescheduling and Cancellations
If you need to reschedule or cancel your installation appointment, please contact Murphy Door as early as possible. Rescheduling fees will be addressed as needed, based on the circumstances and timing of the change.
6. Liability
Murphy Door and its third-party installers are not liable for any damage to surrounding areas caused by existing structural issues or improper site preparation. Customers must ensure that the installation environment is structurally sound and suitable for product installation.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
The installation service covers only the proper setup of Murphy Door products. While Murphy Door stands behind the quality of its products, we do not guarantee or warrant the work of third-party installers beyond the defined scope. Any additional modifications, non-standard adjustments, or finishing work must be performed by a qualified contractor and are not covered under Murphy Door’s product warranty.
